Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
BURGER PHYSICAL THERAPY seeks a California licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to work in Burger's Citrus Heights Clinic! This position requires a California licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with generalist skills and one that can easily communicate and interact with physicians.
This position is offered at full time with a full benefit package.
The schedule for a Physical Therapist Assistant is four ten/hour days.
This position is supported by our wonderful staff, Clinic Director and Regional Director.
We invite you to join our professional team providing excellent patient care and adding a personal touch to the individual therapy needs of each and every patient.
You will assist in the evaluations of patients to determine the needs for physical therapy.
Under the physician's order, treat patients to relieve pain, develop or restore function and maintain optimal performances using physical means such as heat, water, electricity, and light.
If you have had experience with Biodex Isokinetic testing, that would be great!This full-time Physical Therapist Assistant position is available immediately!Primary
Responsibilities:
Assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions Aid and direct patients in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, activities of daily living, prosthetic training, gait and functional training.
Educate patient and family on proper care plans Communicate with team members to ensure quality care is being provided.
