Commercial Lines Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to work with a very reputable Insurance Retail Brokerage. The right candidate must have experience working in an independent insurance agency dealing with multiple carriers, have experience with multiple commercial lines as well as niche markets.
Responsibilities of the Account Manager include:

oOffer outstanding customer service to all clientele
oMarket renewals and new business to appropriate insurance carriers
oNegotiate with Underwriters to provide the best possible rates according to underwriting guidelines
oAnalyze Risks and make appropriate recommendations
oEnsuring policy applications are accurate and complete
oCalling on policyholders to deliver and explain policy, to analyze current programs and suggesting additions or changes
oCustomizing programs to suit customer's individual needs, often covering a variety of risks
oWork with other departments to cross sell and service all accounts to the best of the agencies ability
oSupport Producers and Account Executives with any guidance and customer service issues that arise
oPrepare proposals of rates for clients and potential clients

Desired Skills and Experience
oActive California Property and Casualty License is required
oBasic indemnity coverage knowledge including various products for Commercial Lines Insurance
oStrong understanding of Underwriting Guidelines for multiple carriers
oPrevious working experience with computers required; Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
oAgency Management Software experience such as TAM, AMS, EPIC, AMS 360, or Applied Systems a plus
oDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with individuals at all levels, both within and outside the agency
oGood interpersonal communication, customer service and time management skills essential
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
